Coach Jonathan Kidwell

Brown Belt

After considering trying BJJ for many years, JOnathan decided to get off the couch and started training BJJ in 2016 at the age of 38 to improve physical fitness and develop self-defense skills.  Jonathan believes that BJJ is so compelling because it combines physical and mental challenges with individual and team accomplishments.  There’s a strong sense of accomplishment that comes from being in a room with a group of people that take the path less traveled to overcome difficulty on a journey to master an ever-growing discipline.  Jonathan spends more time coaching than competing these days and takes great pride in being able to provide individual attention to students' BJJ development path.
